Looking for bog/marginal plants

Silex, MO(Zone 5b)

I'm going to turn a part of my old pond into a bog area and I'm looking for plants to put in there. I already have some irises on their way but I'd love some more plants to put in there as well. I have pickerel rush to trade and some divisions of the hardy water lily "Attraction" as well as many perennial plants to trade also. Thanks! :)

There is a new ponding forum

http://www.americanponders.com/forum/

alot of the old american water garden forum members are there. you can ask and offer things for exchange on the exchange forum and members can also sell their extras. Thats what I'm doing with some waterlily starts. If you cant find anyone to trade with here..you could try over there too :)

Okay- thanks Charlotte! :)

You should also post this on the plant trading forum. You'll probably get some action there. When you say 'bog' garden, are you referring to a marginal area that is always a little bit underwater, or are you referring to a peat-based bog?

beccalynns, where is Silex, MO? We have a pond and need to thin out our plants. We'll be going to MO in May to pick up DD from school in Nevada. If you're not too far out of the way we might be able to stop by.
