Thanks Janice for my Gifts!

Janice's (jannich) gifts arrived today. One was for the contest and the other was a Birthday gift!
It brought tears to my eyes, they are so beautiful! I can't believe you can make these!

I have the perfect place too. I have a corner in my living room with AV's and a lady slipper orchid (who just bloomed in time) so rearranged the table (which was one of the few pieces I have from my grandmother, and has huge sentimental value) with the beautiful doilies and vintage pottery that I love so much and a few AV's too, Ali's 'Irish Flirt', 'Maggie Lee' and a noid. How perfect are these doilies? I love them!

WOW, those doilies are just works of art! And you've set everything off beautifully with your arrangement. Such talent we have in this forum!!

My brother has a table from our grandmother that looks very similar to what shows in the photo.... I don't suppose the lower support has a harp shaped pedastal? LOL, that would be just too funny.

Critter that table is a leather topped card table . The drawers swing out and it has three legs. Each leg as a wheel on it. Except one, where the wheel is broke off, and I have an upside down clay flower pot holding it up, LOL!

When I got it, one of the drawers was locked and I could hear that something was inside (I'm thinking Grandma's long lost fortune, as she got older she hid money everywhere!) so finally I picked the lock after about 5 or 6 years and my heart was thumping and just about to beat out of my chest and .... I finally get it open and inside ...(are you on the edge of your seat) was an old readers digest condensed version book from the 1960's! DRATS! So much for the lost fortune! LOL.

Ali, that's a family photo from my little sister's wedding about 8 or 9 years ago. I was the matron of honor and my kids were also in it.

Oh wow so sweet Laurie all of the history and your sisters wedding with you and the kids in it too !

I'm so glad the doilies finally arrived.I guess I know what they mean by Snail mail!Next time it will be Proirity mail. I think they went over the mountain and though the valley.LOL.

Jannich those are beautiful. I have never been able to crochet, other than granny squares, I have several thousand of them. LOL.
