Tropical fruit trees...containers?

Fulton, MO

I've been bitten by the tropical fruit bug. So far I have various bananas, various guava, a mango (Carrie), and lychee (Brewster). All of these are growing in ground beds or raised beds in the greenhouse in loan:peat or loam:compost, well amended. All seem fine. The lychee is blooming. The mango bloomed without fruit set.

Potting up or on order I have:
Ficus 'Brown Turkey'
Dwarf pomegranate
Dragonfruit
Loquat
Carambola
Jaboticaba
Sweetsop
Australian Brush Cherry

So here is my questions: which of these trees will tolerate the loam:peat or loam:compost of the raised bed and which would prefer (or require) a container? Will any of them fruit better in container?

I have researched and found that the Ficus will fruit better in container, but can anyone help with the others? I use coconut husk chips with my citrus and probably would use CHC or pine bark-based container media for the pots.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Yes and the cure for this particular bite is hard to find and kind of expensive...

I have starfruit, dragonfruit and papaya in pots. Last year the papaya and starfruit had a few fruit. I don't know if they would do better in the ground but so far mine seem to be ok in pots although I hope to get more fruit this year.
I have pomegranate, loquate, guava and citrus in ground and lots of fruit.
My mango in a pot died. It was a grafter dwarf and I was so upset. I just planted a couple of mango seeds. If they die its lots cheaper.
I put the starfruit and dragonfruit in the greenhouse during the winter but the papaya stayed outside on the patio.
