CLOSED: Wanted: Butterfly Bush

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

A neighbor gave me a small rooted one of these last year and sadly it just didn't thrive. Would love to give it "one more try" if anyone would have some available. Thanks so much!

They are extremely easy to grow from seed and will flower the first year. Have you considered seeds? LMK

Kim,
Actually I just ordered some seeds for some flowers...was going to try for the first time (embarrassed to admit) to sow seeds. Any place in particular you prefer for seeds?
Thanks!

Ahhhhh...I personally don't sow any seeds in the ground. If that's what you're talkng about. But you didn't have to order seeds. There's enough of us around here with them! LOL. LMK if you want some of mine I have all types (colors). Also I have all kinds of seeds you can play around with. The propogation forum will (should) help you with lots of seed starting :-D

Kim,
Geez....I'm so glad you all tell me about the forums I've yet to find...didn't even know that one existed...you're great, thank you!! Color is 2nd to scent for my preferences...so if you're able to share some seeds...pick the ones you feel have the best scent...I would be VERY appreciative!!! LMK, please....and thank you.

Chantell - my husband bought the seeds from Park's. Beware! Every single one of them germinated. You might want to start five of them and see what you get or you could end up in the Butterfly Bush Business! Have fun.
