BUTTERFLIES IN BLOOM - 2006
March 13 through April 23, 2006, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Experience thousands of colorful, live butterflies in the Conservatory. This year stop by the Butterfly Barn on Saturday or Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. to make a puppet for your finger, color a "stained glass" picture, or learn to write a Haikus or Cinquain poem. New this year at the exhibit will be a brand new butterfly - the Banded Orange Longwing (Dryadula phaetusa), poetry provided by St. Brigids 3rd Graders, an exhibit about the amazing mechanics of butterfly flight, plus Midland Art students will be creating new feeding stations.
