So is it a white area with a darker area below?? I am no expert on brug ailments, but it looks OK to me. You need to watch it though, can you keep it isolated for awhile. Did it get rubbed?? Are the nodes all clear?

You have broadmites it looks like too. I hate those so much. Neem works well for me on them.

I battle broad mites on a daily basis it is the bane of my existence I was afraid it was strenglebrand or something I use neem as well as Bayer two in one How often do you use neem I use it every two weeks they are all outside now so maybe I can start using it every week Thanks for the reassurance its not too serious.

There is a thread on here that shows SB and what to watch for. See if you can find it.

I have had that brown stuff I see on yours and nothing ever came of it.

I love Neem. I spray maybe twice and I get the new growth on all my brugs whether they show damage or not for it starts there it seems.

Do you get no breaks from them? If I had that much trouble I would give up!!

I agree with Kell. It doesn't look like SB to me. With SB, there'd be a dark circular spot around (and kinda under) the leaf node on new to semi-new growth.

This just looks like it might be damage of some sort. Like she said, I'd just keep an eye on it.

Would one of you nice people please educate this newbie to Neem? How does it work, what can it be used on, the best source, etc? Thanks!! Karen

Hi Karen! Neem is just great. It kills most insects and is even great on fungus. And it doesn't kill you! In fact there are tons of used for it like in shampoos for us.

I get mine at Lowes. It is cheap too compared to many insecticides. The only thing is you have to get all parts of leaves, it smothers so it is not a systemic. Also, do not use it in the heat of the day if it gets hot where you are and if your plant is in full sun.

Hope this helps.
