Girl foliage optimaras

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Does anyone have girl foliage optimaras! I can't even buy the leaves on selective gardener.
I know Allison said someone has a NoID here she thinks is Opt Sagitarius....I would love leaves of that!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Lorry FC has 33 girl foliage plants. And I checked and checked the two sights that sell leaves for them with no luck :(( Maybe I'll email them and ask them.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

That really sucks :(
If you have any luck..please let me know :)

Now Laurie..was it you with the no ID that Allison thought was Sagitarius...If it is..I want a leaf! LOL

Lilburn, GA

Are girl foliage the crinckly wavy leaves with a white spot in them? If so, I have one that has double light pink flowers like little roses. I can take a picture if you are interested and send you leaves.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Sounds pretty Anna. Some are crinckle wavy some are not but the white spot yes !

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Yup that sounds like girl foliage :)
I have MANY girl foliage varieties..I am also willing to share :)
Here is one of my storytella girls..which seem to be rare

Laurie no way you lost that one Sorry I loved it. Did you have leaves down ?
I was talking to you all and fell dead alseep. Well guess what no packaging till tomorrow. Sorry. no plant trans-planting. I was bad I stayed in bed talking to you all all day until I passed out. lol
But it was fun !

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

Yes, I have leaves rooted. (Lucky I got good advise here and did so or I would have lost it all together! wink wink)

Others I have are
Snuggles Little Girl
Neverland Dreams
Silly Girl (these three are leaves down)
and baby of Classic Rock. Which I believe FC does not have Girl leaves in description, but I can vouch for it. It does have girl leaves and variegated nicely at that.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

How cool Allison :) I am waiting not so patiently for it to bloom also :) the leaves are so unique with that one :)

I already have neverland dreams but would LOVE all the other girls you have Laurie :) Including NoIDs :)

I sent you some of my storytella girl leaf varieties also :) I am not letting them recoup so I can send them to other people :) they are so adorable!

I also won Bluebeard on Ebay (happy dance) a variegated storytella...can you believe it!

I think the one you lost is the one Allison thought was optimara sagitarius

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Spider, I've got a girl leafed noid too that I call "Rosie Girl." I'll attach my favorite photo of her...

Begonia, I thought 'Silly Girl' was on your wish list, and your name is on a little plantlet... Do you have one now, or do you just have leaves? Lorry couldn't wait for my plantlet either, LOL.... it really is one of my favorite varieties, so I can see why.

Silver Spring, MD

The storytella girl with the pink double bloom. I have one exactly like it. What is the name on the white tag? "Little (can't make the rest out). Mine is getting ready to bloom again. Here is a picture of the leaves. Do they look the same to you? The blooms as I remember are exactly like yours.

When I ordered leaves, they were a sub for one that was out. I didn't complain since I love girl leaves. I got lots of subs in that order. Some were new hybrids that aren't out yet I think but will be coming out this year. one called something... Puff. Oh yea. Proud Puff. can you find it in FC?
They dont have roots just yet.

I knew you had a girl leaf, but I couldn't remember the name. Lorry, I was calling mine noid 'Rosie's Girlfriend' after Critters.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

That would be little miss muffet but your leaves look much darker. Are you sure the one you have is a storytella? the foliage looks more like mouse maid but that is not a double bloom

Cool Laurie :) and girl leaves are welcome here NoID or ID :)

Silver Spring, MD

Are the leaves girl leaves? I am never quite sure.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

I will look it up for you when I get hom on FC Laurie :)

Silver Spring, MD

For sure the bloom is semi double to double and it appears to be the same pink as your Little Miss Muffet.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

There are other varieites that are similiar from other hybridizers..if you are sure yours is a storytella..it is probably little miss muffet :) and yup she is a girl leaf :)

Silver Spring, MD

Not sure about the storytella. Too bad.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

The leaves look dark in the photo...mine are a lighter green...though could be it is hard to say for certain.
