On Wednesday, March 8th our dear furbaby, Ranger, crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a heroic fight with Cancer. He was brave and true til the end and he is sorely missed.
He was met on the other side by his friend, Cleo, the siamese. I am sure she headbutted him then swatted him on the nose. Also greeting him, I am certain, was his Cocker friend Peaches, who left us this time two years ago. Something about March....
Waiting to welcome him were a host of other furbabies: Maggie, DeeDee, Harley, Autumn, Tidbit, Princess, Daisy, Peachy, Apricot, Lady, Sadie, Hambone, Samantha, Wallenda, Hobbes, Oskar, Oskar the first, Spitty, Lucy, Chelsea, Mao, Toby, and Sassy T. Ranger carried messages of love to each of them from their people and from us.
Ranger is survived and remembered by his doggie friends, Miss Kitty, Shandi, Memnok, DiDi, Thurber, & Gummy Bear. His kitty friends miss him terribly. They are Snicket, Pickalily, Londyn, Dianket, Moonshadow, Skylar & Silver Ghost. Of course his people are lost without him.

This photo is on my daughters wall. It was taken the day Ranger came to live with us, just 4 years ago. He had just turned 5 this month.
