I have many little seedlings that mean so much to me, as I know many of you have. The temps. today are in the mid seventies and tonights low will be in the sixties. Luck has been on my side in the past when moving my brug babies outside but this year I don't want to chance losing even one. What is the best way to harden off? I'm sure there are many of us that would like to know the secret!
Harding off??
Start by putting inside garage/enclosed breezeway, or protected area out of the wind and hot sun. Maybe couple weeks, then gradually put outside for short periods each day, with protection from elements. Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Today was a big day here in my garden. Xomed had sent me a Pink Floyd cutting and Margo (is that jmmk? Margo, sorry, can't remember your screen name without looking it up)anyway....Margo sent a Pink Frosty and they both have done well enough to go ahead and plant them in the yard! Yippee! They're looking great and strong so here's to my first pink ones thanks to Xomed and Margo! Gulp, gulp.
