Boy is the weather lovely this morning! I've walked around part of the yard and saw some daffs begining to bloom. We had one iris reticulata(?) blooming yesterday. There is one other set of leaves but no bloom on them. I just planted them last fall.
I lost one of of the regained pounds so now I'm back down to 144#. As I become more active I know more will come off. I am feeling better every day. I did finally get a good night of sleep last night. I'm back down to 30 mg. of the Cymbalta and will see how that does. The 60mg. for just a few days was really getting to the ulcer and making sleep nearly impossible. I won't take anything that upsets that ulcer or prevents sleep. I can put up with a lot of side effects, but not those 2.
Kim, it is good to hear you have lost some of your regained weight. I know how thrilled you were to be below 200. You'll be there again soon I'm sure. All that walking you are doing is sure to do the job.
Howie, when do you get to back to work? I think I remember something about an April date. It's good to hear you are up and walking a lot. I'm sure it feels great to be pain free and standing straight and tall again.
RedRose, you are doing great too. I understand the thrill of losing weight. You sure are a busy person. Living in a long growing season gives you lots more time to work outside in the fresh air and sunshine.
Tricia, how is the tilling and gardening coming along? A man at the cafe' said he saw someone tilling and planting and was wondering what he could be planting this time of the year around here. I told him there are a lot veggies that do better now than in the heat of the summer. He didn't seem to be aware of that.
Sandra, Pebble, Marylyn, and others seem to be missing from our group. Has anyone heard from them? I miss hearing from them.
Anna, have you been working hard getting ready for the April competition? It seems you have had a hard time keeping motivated to do all the exercising. Will you be gardening this year or do you have time and energy for that?
To all the newcomers whose names I did not remember this early in the morning, I wish you well and hope you are keeping your eating lifestyle and getting plenty of exercise. Some of you live in such long spring/summer/fall areas that I sometimes envy you.
GOD bless and keep you all.
