I just came from Walmart and saw the sweetest AV by the name of Laguna. It was white with a reddish edge. I did not buy it as some of the flowers are not correctly named. I Googled but found no results. Anyone have an image?
There is only one left so I may go back and get it. Linda

I noticed that Walmart sells Optimara and the ultra violet series . Does anyone know who would have a beach/city series (ex:Laguna Beach) Linda

Sorry Linda..I don't know of a beach series.
A quick search for "Beach" in FC turned up ;'Beachwalker' and 'Sunset Beach', both hybridized by Sorano. There was also a 'Sea Urchin Beach'.
another quick look... There are 25 registered varieties with "City" in the name, including half a dozen names that start with 'Kansas City'.
edited... the first one on the list is 'Atlantic City', which is also a beach, LOL! Other than the KS varieties, there didn't seem to be any obvious series.

Lorry, Walmart only gives part of the Ultra Violet name. UV Meteor only has Meteor on the tag. The same with UV Flash. Today there was Mercury and one called Bia. Cost was $1.94. Optimara is better at giving the full name. They had the indian series. Creek Girl, Blackfoot, and Arapahoe Girl. These are minatures I believe.

No. I did not. I am more interested in bicolors, frilly, doubles. Altho' the one that was white had a touch of purple and I think it was a mini or semi. I am interested in the mini/semi.

I went to a florist recently and they had a shipment containing labeled Opitmara plants came from Canada. Go figure that.
AND when I received my little indian plants from optimara one tag said Little Pueblo, but handwritten on the tag was Witchata. Gives some food for thought.

Someone else had a Laguna plant and a Bia . Was it Jan or Laurie ? I was looking up names for them with no luck. Lot's of plants never make it to First Class.
I have a plant girl leaf named Frilly and another pretty mini named Little Teddy from the D&P bargain plants and I can not find any info from.
I have some plants with great variegation, miniature named Fantasy Halo I know it's by Pittman but can't find anymore info.
Nanna if I got that plant I'd be calling them and saying what's up with this. Does your plant match the description ?
