Carolina Cherry Laurel, Prunus caroliniana, another lovely Texas Native, medium size evergreen tree, with white flowers in Spring and berries in Winter. Fast and easy to grow, great for creating a screen or fence row.

Wax Myrtle, Myrica cerifera, is another medium size evergreen tree with tiny nutlets or seeds in Winter that the birds love to eat. This Texas Native had an open habit of growth and gives light shade.
