Makshi, they look a lot alike to me too - I would like to know how to tell them apart. Not sure I've actually seen a hoya, just photos.
Try pulling up the files of Peperomia in the Plant Files....and compare them to hoyas...I think you will see a difference in growth habit, coloration, leaf shape etc.
