I just found a German Shepard puppy yesterday at the port of Long Beach. The poor girl must have been abandoned and was at the same spot for over 1 week without food or shelter. When I went there she was so happy to see my car come that I think she was waiting there to be picked up from the person that left her there. This little girl is so adorable and about 8 month old. She is very skinny and also a bit shy. Apparently she was held outside because it took me very long to finally get her inside the house. Unfortunately I can't keep her since I already have 4 dogs but if someone knows anybody in the Los Angeles area, please let me know.
