Bernie, Are geraniums hard to germinate.
Do you spray them with a stunt chemical like B-9,etc..?
How long does it take for geraniums to be ready for baskets or 6 inch pots?
Geraniums are next years agenda.
Also next years agenda for mothers day sales are 6 inch potted carnations.
I guess i have alot of research to do this year for next year.
I start planning now cause I order supplies for next year by Aug. I hate last minute orders. I have to order plugs and seeds by Nov.
And i havent made up my mind if I want to grow mums for Fall sales. I have to order mum plugs by May.

ok, I'll stop thinking out loud now. lol

Geraniums sprout very fast, if everything is right. Keep them going is a little tricky. They like to damp-off.
We went to get our cutting things Friday.
This is some of what we brought home.

We are trying Sun Coleus this year.

This coleus I got at Iowa Round-up last year. It spent the summer in a flower bed. Saved some in the basement. I will now divide it for this season.

Bernie looks like you are off to a good year. Are most of the seedlings you got planted in 1" plugs, just curious.

Very pretty coleus and you should have lots of cuttings. I planted a packet of Kong Mosaic coleus, they are pretty small yet, but most have their first true leaves. I just have a small gh 10 x 14.
