Hi Pam,
Glad you didn't make the long drive. It was a very small show put on by the members of "Moonlight AV" in Fort Worth. Don't know if there are other AV groups or not. They did have some gorgeous plants, and when my MIL admired one of the blue ribbon winners (Too Much Pizzaz), the owner walked over and snapped off a leaf for both of us. The club only has 14 members -- couldn't believe it. They were all very nice. They had some optimaras they were giving away for a donation of $5 (if they "sold" them, they had to pay rent on the room). So, MIL and I got Anika, Miho, Louisiana, and Susi. We also both got plantlets of Stargate. I think I may go to their next meeting. Needless to say, I've been putting down some leaves :-)

Sounds good. I think the Austin one may be a little bigger, but, if not, it will be fun, anyway. Glad to know you got some good stuff!

We enjoyed just getting out, especially my MIL. She has some really pretty noid AVs, and discovered episicias today and seemed fascinated, so I am going to try to find a couple for her this week. She has been glued to my FILs side since he had open heart surgery a few weeks ago. He wasn't feeling well today, but my DH stayed with him. I will be anxious to hear about the show in Austin.
