Planting rhizomes :)

LOL..I am sure it is here somewhere ..BUT can someone point me to precise directions on planting Gessie rhizomes :)
I got a bunch off of ebay and want to do this RIGHT

you just kinda lay them horizontal on the potting mix, and then cover with some more mix - like a half inch to 1" of it. You might be able to see some new shoots appearing on the rhizomes by this time of year.

streps don't have rhizomes, though I think some are "rhizomatous" - they spread horizontally.

Lorry is probably talking about Kohlerias and Kohlerikellias (or whatever they're called - but they are now called Kohlerias anyway) and some of the others.

I am going to plant thoe up along with my tamiania seeds (woohooo) when I get home from work today.
I figured horizontal but I wanted to make sure :)
