you just kinda lay them horizontal on the potting mix, and then cover with some more mix - like a half inch to 1" of it. You might be able to see some new shoots appearing on the rhizomes by this time of year.
I had no idea Streps had rhizomes...
streps don't have rhizomes, though I think some are "rhizomatous" - they spread horizontally.
Lorry is probably talking about Kohlerias and Kohlerikellias (or whatever they're called - but they are now called Kohlerias anyway) and some of the others.
