rare, fall blooming, climbing aster

Floyd, VA(Zone 6b)

This is a wild flower of the Southeast. It forms a huge vine with support and blooms quite late. The blooms are pale lavender. The birds love the seeds in winter and shelter in the dense vines as they eat them. I have just recently collected them. see my trade list under ensatagirl on Gardenweb.
