The 'Czech' will be ready in April/May - 4" pot
The 'Hidcote' a month or two later.
I'm interested in silver-foliaged perennials like "Snow in Summer", Aretemesia's, etc.
And I'd trade for any other lavender other than 'Munstead' - hardy here or not.
Thanks a lot,
Dax
Have Lavandula angustifolia 'Czech' / 'Hidcote'
conifers,
Would you be interested in trading cuttings? I have czech ancestry and would love cuttings of this lavender. I have Brachyglottis greyi (Senecio greyi) cuttings. This plant gets about 3' tall and the same wide. Here in Wa, it is evergreen and beautiful all year round. It is drought tolerant too.
thanks,
jacqui
Hi Jburesh,
As to ancestry - Mine were grown from open pollinated seed that I purchased from Horizon Herbs. I kept one plant and am now growing seed from this to be three year old plant.
I can grow cuttings/whatever - you know.
Thanks,
Dax
conifers,
If you are interested in trading for cuttings of grey's, I would love to have your czech lavender. I can send you a number of cuttings so you can make a few of these and trade the extras. They root easily and are very drought tolerant.
