Just wondering what types of veggies are "easy transplanters". I've always had success with tomatoes, but also always lived in a warm zone before. Now I am faced with "starting indoors, 6-8 weeks before your last frost" - where I used to live, I didn't even know what frost was :-) I'm not particularly good gardener, so I need fool-proof stuff... expanding my grow lights by another set of shop lights this weekend... gonna turn this sandy desert into a cottage garden? I like to dream big :-)
TIA, Karla
Easy Transplanter
Tranplanters include tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts . Many others can be tranplanted in pots or plugs, but they do better direct seeded.
Lettuce transplants well. And the cukes I transplanted had no problem, which surprised me.
