They're filling out nicely. Lambs are a sure sign of spring. How many did you get this year? Good survival rate I hope, wasn't it you that had so many losses last year?

I had trouble with coyotes last year .. This year I have lost a few , but doing ok. Due to new moms and just a little bad luck. I still only have 11 baby lambs. But I do love to raise them..
I love baby lambs! I grew up on the other end of Nichols, on the edge of town. We have almost an acre across the road that's out of city limits. One year my granddad gave us a couple of pregnant ewes. We had twins, and a black one. I spent a lot of time in the sheep pen.
I have one black ewe lamb this spring.. Well, She has white markings. This makes her look like a negative image of her mother who is white with black markings.
