Help, My dog is bleeding after Spaying

I had my two dogs spayed on Wednesday. All was going well until last night. “Doodle” my little Brussels Griffin, started having diarrhea about 10:00 last night. About an hour later it was solid blood. I called the pet emergency clinic and they said that she should be OK unless she starts to vomit. There has been no vomiting. She seemed to feel OK still good appetite and drinking water. They said wait until this morning and take her to my Vet when he opened. He would be more familiar with her surgery and events. We were at the door when he opened. He saw no signs of infection, parasites etc. He gave her an injection of Penicillin, Imodium drops for the diarrhea, and Flagyl to calm her intestines. He also said probably not a problem unless she starts to Vomit and if she does to take her to the Pet Emerg. Clinic as soon as possible.

He gave her Rimidyl after the surgery for inflammation and pain, the Doc said that there was a chance that that had caused the bleed, that some dogs don’t tolerate it. To stop giving that.

Has any one had a similar problem or does any one have any ideas of any thing else I can do???
