Just to let you know what I will be doing this next week. ;o)
Tomorrow i will be going to my first meeting of the Greater Atlanta violet Club (or something like that). The lecture will be leaf cuttings and we will have the chance of doing some.
Next Wednesday the Dixie Violet Society has its conference and plants show. i will be going there as well. There will be some AV nurseries and, last time I heard it, one is going to have about 2000 leaves for sale.
If anyone wants to join me, you will be more than welcome to come and stay with us in lilburn!!!!!!

Today i went to the Dixie Violet Convention and annual show.
Got there and the place was nearly empty. The event was not well advertised. There were just three nurseries selling AVs and one had Streps.
The amount they had for sale was small and not a lot of variety. I went there with my heart racing a my wish list in one hand thinking that I would have a great time...
I hope things get better for tomorrow and saturday. I took my camera but the show plants were kept in a closed room. no one was allowed to peek.

That's all. Came back home just in time for a bit thunderstorm :o))) (I love them)
The plants were very small. Most of it starter plants.
