Has anyone bought the space baby violets from Bluebird? If you have how do they do and are really as pretty as they look in the picture?

I'm home! LOL I was in Pittsburgh through the weekend, visiting family (brother's birthday celebration, lots of play time with neices & nephew, big fun)! My folks came back with me... we're planning to go to the Philly flower show either tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday!

Yippie glad your home Jill ! Missed you :))
I shipped about five Space Babies off to Deb today. Three of them when I promised her them were so tiny. Well I gotta tell you their in 4 inch pots flowing gracfuly out the sides blooming and budding ! I don't like to ship these full wavy ones like this but I feel I did a good wrapping job. I'll tell you what they are healtheir and larger and fuller than when I bought mine on Bluebirds.
Now I do have babies growing their shippable size but when warmer weather comes they'll be larger is you don't buy any by then let me know Diane I can put some into your box !
It's good to get plants smaller they adjust better in your home. It is also good to get plants in fresh light soil-less mixture in new pots not grown in a control enviroment they also adjust better.
When you buy plants from a Nursery, HD, Wal-mart, so on the soil is heavy, they have been grown under cotrl condtions and need re-potting into new pots taking almost all soil off and potting into new soil-less mixture if you want them to keep continue blooming and growing for months and year later !

I am so excited about my new plants that Allison is sending. My heart is just going pitter pat...pitter pat. I will be watching for my mailman every day.

Maybe they should be there on Monday Deb. They sure grew from tiny baby from when I promised them to you to large Space Babies :)) I'm so excited can't wait for you to get them !
Enjoy :))
