No time for champagne, lol

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Realized early yest morning that the best layed plans have no bearing on mother natures course, lol.

Night before last (tues) we had one heckuva time getting fancy in the barn....she was wired for sound..we chalked it up to there mustve been deer down back, or something....something definately had her on guard. After about 2 hours, we were able to get her stalled and let her out again after she tried coming through the stall door. Anyway, on one of the coldest nights of the year, we left the barn door open so she could come in when she wanted to. Tina, nonchalant as always was tucked in for the night. Bill went out about 1030 to check on them, Fancy was still posed and stressed, Tina was happily munching on hay.
Anyway, about 630 weds morning, i looked out the window and saw them both outside....my fears were put to rest that something was waiting in the wings....ha little did i know, lol.
About 730 rob got up and looked out the window and yelled at me....."Hey Jen, when did we get a 3rd horse"........huh whuttttttttt?????
Yup, fancy mustve playing watch dog while Tina foaled....3 1/2 weeks early!
So, I give you Katy....shes perfect in every way : )
