some new AV's

got these three at a nursery today...no names...but the red/maroon one with light edges looks familiar from some place

this bluish white one appears to be a double..

and

and this one is more purplish than the picture depicts

and oh yes...while taking these pics.....my big foot tipped over the box with the strep leaves in many stryo cups....now they are all one and i ain't got the faintest which is which....so they're all going into one big container and will be my "surprise" streps....and yes,...I was ANGRY at myself...but a bit proud in that i didn't completely 'LOSE" it as the contents went flying all over the rug....&^%%)+_%^$%

Hi Allison...i wish my camera would pick up more of the purple in the last one it's pretty...i find myself thinking.....wonder if this is the kind the "gang" would like..lol...I could have shot myself for knocking over the box with the strep leaves...but i have very little space....do you or anyone know which one the first one looks like...these weren't makred optimara..

I have a hard time with pinks and purples. :))

allison..it has something to do with the color spectrum and the lens....on my camera...i can change settings to get different kinds of pics but haven't got around to doing that wiht the av's.

i do "feel" that the first one above is special and many of us have seen it before...so have some fun digging up its name and let us know

Love the second one. Is it really that blue? So sorry about the streps but totally sympathize :-)

yes the blues aren't a problem with the camera...and theirs some white in there as well
