Please get well soon! Take care of yourself, and don't go sneaking off like that on us again. We all care about what's happening with the rest of our community, right CGers?

--Ginny

Sure counting on you having a real speedy recovery Pam. Guess it was time to go see the doctor? Huh? See if you can sneak some of that Demerol home with you.

(Linda, that's sure a nice plumie for Pam.)

Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers,

LOLOL @ echoes.

I was just released an hour ago. :D Ü :D
For those that are wondering:
I had a *bit* of a surprise last week. Discovered the nasty way my gallbladder was full to bursting. Just got out after having 2 surgeries (one to remove the very hot potato and the other to remove wayward stones). It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to be at HOME (and @ DAVE's;)

Off work till at least March 20th!!! :D

Pam, I'm sorry to hear that you had been suffering, but glad you are feeling much better. It really sucks to have gallbladder attacks. Take it easy.

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Well yippee! Lilypon is back among the living and weighing much less without that nasty gall bladder! We don't need those stinking things anyway.
You go girl (and enjoy the demerol!)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Thanks Donna. :)

Cochrane, ON(Zone 2b)

Pam, so sorry to hear about your gall bladder problems. Just think how much better you are going to feel now. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Alright your still alive I'm so relieved! I was out to dinner with my DW and we were wondering how it went. I am glad your back. Don't do much for the next few days or you will regret it. I remember a touchy surgery on my bottom a few years back and I woke up out of surgery only 10 minutes. The Dr ok'd my departure and my DW took me over to the surgeons office to ask if I was ok could I go skiing tomorrow. The nurses just chuckled and got the Doc to say "No problem as long as you wern't taking any narcotics". Well I trotted home and when I woke up in the morning the pain was awful. I hadn't realized that they had used a local anesthetic "there". I knew 2 times a day what it is like to have a baby sitting on the throne. It lasted for over 3 weeks. OOps no laughing either. Congrats Pam. Steve

night Gracie.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

hey now I know that is not you. No doctor would operate without first clipping off the hair in the region of the surgery. Also if that is you we need to start Oxygen your color is quite cyanotic (blue) for a post op patient. Though that is your hospital ID band on your leg. CODE BLUE!!!! Here I am scrubbed in and ready to go to work.

Pam next time when you get stoned use the stuff that makes you happy and not the stuff that gets stuck in your Gall bladder making you miserable in turn ;)
You'll never look at beacon the same way in the morning.
Pam is trying to phone me in the morning and evening so my little pest must be feeling well again (or took lots of happy stuff :)

There is no such thing as competition for a DG Liebling! :)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Better keep an eye on that newbie sweetheart upstart then. :)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Now that I've quit having to hold onto a pillow you, as usual ;), are correct PC. All our Canadian men (and wannabees;) are sweethearts here. You however can prolly wear the liebling form of the title safely tho. ;)

The silver lining is that you'll be recovered in time to do some spring gardening, Lilypon! So I brought you this bouquet of daffs.

Hey Pam, missed the news til now - very glad ur on the recovery track now!! Hope to see u this summer! So far plans are on track still, they may be postponed later, depending on DS's GF's prognosis. Here's the scoop - http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/580267/ - I'll be in contact later in the spring, ok?

Fort Pierce, FL(Zone 10a)

Good grief Lilypon, how did I miss all the excitment? So glad the nasty is out and you are home. I had mine out years ago. It was a surprise for the doctors.....I didn't have a pile of stones....just one HUGE one! I kept it in a jar for a long time. Did you know they sparkle?

Anyway....that's probably WAY more than you want to know about my operation! LOL

All's well that ends well......"well" being the key word.
(((hugs)))
Pati

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Oh Laura I'm so sorry! I've been following Kim's and Howie's threads and I hope you/she are able to get the same Doc they did. My thoughts will be with your family during these trying times.

Nope I didn't Pati...........unfortunately the surgeons in Regina got my better ones.

(((Hugs))) and thank you both! Doing much better (at least I don't need a pillow anymore;).

Looking forward to hearing from you kooger.
