Update on Emma and lymphoma

A long time ago I posted about my greyhound, Emma, diagnosed with lymphoma. She sailed through chemo and I put her on artemisinin afterwards. Well, Emma is in her 16 month of remission! Lymphoma usually comes back within 6 to 11 months so we are thrilled. She had her checkup last week. Her blood work is great, lungs are clear and is a young 13 years old. Our vet oncologist is very surprised she is still in remission. I truly believe it is the artemisinin that has kept her in remission this long, and we are continuing it.
