Cancer strikes again

Denver, CO(Zone 6a)

I haven't posted in a long time so here I am again.
In November one of my greyhounds, Heidi, was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma. We put her through surgery and radiation and now she's having a little trouble healing but it is considered a cure so that is good. But it is frustrating that she keeps licking her wound and we have tried a lot of things to keep her from licking her wound.

It has to be open to the air so, these are things we have tried

E-collar. great but we have to take it off when she eats and wham, pulls off the scab in record time
no-bite collar wonderful but the wound is on the leg and she can get to it.
Vicks around the wound. Loves the taste
E collar cut so she can eat - but she can get at the site.
anti-anxiety great but doesn't want to eat
Greyhound racing muzzle, likes it much better but can stick her tongue out

So we are here
Greyhound racing muzzle with a nylon stocking over the end - we shall see how she gets past this one!
