Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

is it called aly's mary ruth

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Laurie my leaves did not make it either :(
Linda it was a plant of Alice Droege

A lot of them made it into First Class but not all registered . I don't think they were Vintage. Alice owned Fredricks before it became D&P. She got Lupus. Many of her plants never made it to First class. Not every plant in First Class is reg. if it does not have date and reg. number. Most of her's were not registered.
Aly's Rodger Shifflett (8846) 01/03/2000 (A. Droege) Double chimera white large star/hot pink stripe, purple fantasy. Medium green, plain, heart-shaped, quilted, scalloped. Standard

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I have
Aly's Rosy Baby (Droege) Semidouble rose. Dark pointed. Miniature trailer (User Database)
It is by the same Hybridizer of Aly's Mary Ruth
>>>
Aly's Mary Ruth 99.9 percent sure is not a vintage won't be fount in an old book.
Aly's Mary Ruth was one of Alice Droege plants she did not have a chance to registered among others.
She does have several plants in FC but most are not registered. She also has the Streptocarpus Aly's.
Laurie has the picture of Aly's Mary Ruth posted.
Alice Droege got Lupus bad and that's why D & P took over but they went out of business. The web sight is still kept up by Alice's son. You may try emailing him and see if he knows anything.
You are not going to find it in a book, or anyone selling it.
