Bird of Paradise

I am trying to start a root of B.O.P. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it sprout??

Let me look to see if I can find the thread where we've been talking about BOP divisions. I'll add the link if I can find it. We just had the same conversation in another area, because we all wanted to know!

I found the U. of Florida link that had info. on BOP divisions. I only have a piece of the root. Or least I hope it's BOP. I will keep looking.
