Looking for A Book

(Zone 5b)

Several years ago, my husband was given a book about eating certain foods a certain way. We used it for awhile and finally passed it on to someone else and have been wracking our brains trying to remember the name or author but just can't. It's been a very long time so at the risk of not even remembering correctly, I'll try to tell as much as I can about it just in case any of it sounds familiar to anyone.

It discusses drinking cow's milk and points out that humans are the only animals that drink milk after they're weaned.
It talks about how a typical meal of meat, vegetable, potato is not good and why - something about how those things conflict with each other. And it explains which foods are best to eat together.
I think it said something about using olive oil and butter instead of margerine or vegetable oil
It included some recipes. I believe one of the sandwiches was called a "tommy burger" (tomato, sprouts, mayo, etc).
Most of the recipes were very time consuming and shopping was expensive

Does any of this ring a bell with anyone?
