I foreced myself to go look at my brugs in the ground today and was relieved and delighted to see that some are pushing up new sprouts. It appears they weathered the 4 nights in a row really hard freeze .. my poppies on the other hand had a real hard time. What was REALLY strange, was the cactus I left outside cause no one wanted them are unscathed .. really strange.

Thank goodness.. It would be terrible to get to this late date and have them freeze to death!
What kind of poppy was already up? Isn't it always the the plant you could care less about that survives forever?
