First bloom of the season (cheating)

somewhere, PA

I am so ready for us to get this forum going again with lots of gorgeous pictures!
So here's one to prime the pump. I overwintered a little trough in my greenhouse.
The Aster Alpina is blooming (started from seed just about exactly a year ago).

And one not cheating! A picture of some species crocus in my rock garden.
(edited to add: They are Cream Beauty per my wonderful Bulb Thread buddies!)

Hmmm. I have pussywillows, but no dwarf or alpine types yet.

Hey whatever it takes to get us to the spring time! I just replanted my big raised bed - 2 daphnes had become huge so planted those in the garden and 2 dwarf conifers that were anything dwarf went the journey. I've put alot of small bulbs and erodiums, pulsatilla etc in there for now. Pleased my snowdrops are in bloom if nothing else.

Cheating? Who cares. I won't see blooms on my A. alpina for several weeks yet. Lovely pictures and a nice preview of things to come.
