Ma's vs Maas

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

I have seen reference to Ma's violets and Maas violets. Are these one in the same or different strains?

Mansfield, TX(Zone 8a)

Looks like this is a night for research. Best I can tell "Ma's" violets were owned by Dr. Ralph and Olive Ma Robinson, and "Maas" violetswere developed by Max Maas

Maas was a great Hybridizer :)) Most of them Vintage and most looked for of the African violet family. I'm pretty sure their Canadian Hyrbrids also. It's super hard to find his plants . First Class there are 91 varieties ! And I'm sure more not in FC/
And of course everyone knows Ma's are Rob's wife . She does the Standards he does the Minis :))
Her plants are fairly new not vintage mostly from the 2000 up/ She has 40 plant varieties in FC.
