blue ginger, var. rubber tree (1'X 1' shrub) among others. will these two come back? how about crotons?
beginning to see damage from 1 night of freezing temp
I always lost my Crotons in the winters, this plant never came back for me. Rubber tree never die in winters and ginger came back as usual.

Hard to believe that you and I live so far apart and are so close as far as zone goes. Tell me/us what else you grow?
I have palms, Crotons,Bananas, Mangoes, Guava, Kinno, Custard apple and grapes.
In flowers I love Freesia, Hycinth , Iris, Calla lily, many perrinial and annuals.
Lots of cactus and succulents, also have water plants and gingers , Lilies and Daylilies. also have Hostas, Anthurium, Begonias and Bromeliads.. Maximum plants are from USA because many are rare for us and not available in Pakistan. DG members are so loving and they filled my garden and also filled my heart with love.

What plants are native to you? I am just curious, so if I am annoying just ignore me. I know what you mean about these DG folks, can't begin to thank all of those who have gifted me. Nice bunch of folks.
