Hello and Merry Meet!

Salem, OR(Zone 8a)

I finally took the Dave's Garden plunge.

I have previously visited the site, but decided to register and join when I wanted to get in on some curb appeal discussion.
I love this place!
The only thing that I can't seem to find, is a forum for The Pacific Northwest. Am I missing it?

Welcome from waaay over on the east side of Oregon where the climate is completely different. I see by your name that you are an optomist, I lived over there so I know how much it rains.

Salem, OR(Zone 8a)

Thanks everyone.

Hi Mary.

While I do try to be an optimist, I tell you, when we arrived here in July, it was sunny, hot, and dry for several months straight. We just couldn't understand why people said it rained all the time.

We did eventually get that rain, btw. It hasn't really stopped since. ;)

It will, someday.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Welcome from the high desert of Utah... There's already too many divisions here... I run around to all the threads and forums I can find time for... For all the differences in temps we mostly grow the same plants.

All over the place on Dave's we are trying to make our gardens more beautiful and more bountiful without harming the environment while we do it -
Just jump in anyplace at all... Tomorrow [Thurs] morning will be live chat time.. talk about craziness. ~Blooms

Welcome, SalemSunshine, from the "Magnificent Midwest!" :o)
Jump right in, join the coffee clutches, and all the other goodies.
Plant files are great, furums fun- I could go on and on. The people--well, what can I say? They're terrific, helpful, and supportive. So much info in one place, it's unbeleivable. Hopefully, we'll be picking your brain, also!! Make yourself home....at Dave's Garden! DeannaV
