I think it is just wonderful to see such a beautiful plant out in the wild. Most of us in the US have become so accustomed to hybridized plants, we forget where they all come from. Very nice photo. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you. For example with Alstroemerias: although the hybrids are lovely, I have never seen one that is as beautiful as the species.

OMG................. these are so lovely. Is this a bulb plant? Different colors are so stunning. What is the ize of the bloom?

Yes Kaleem, it's a bulb plant.

I would say the flowers are some 2 1/2" (6cm) to 3" (7 1/2 cm) wide.
