I really need some advice. Boomer is a 7 month old puppy weighing about 40 pounds. I take him out on a leash to go potty. We have to walk uphill to the far part of our yard and he has started "attacking us" when we get part way up the hill. It is like play behavior, he bites at your clothes and your arms and jumps and jumps all over you. I have tried to ignore him, tried the pennies in the pop can, it is like he is out of control and I don't know what to do. When I took Buddy to obedience class, the taught a submissive rubdown, where you lay him on the floor and pet him and talk to him, but don't let him up until you are ready. This is to show them that you are the boss. Half way up the yard, I threw Boomer on the ground for a few minutes, but as soon as I let him up, he started to attack again. I wondered if he was trying to show that he's the boss since he is ahead of me going up the hill, kind of like he is on higher ground. (Don't know if you understand what I mean by that) I really need some advice bad. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance, Staci
