I have 25 Giant Atlantic pumpkin seeds to trade.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

I can send these in groups of 5. My son ordered 10 and paid 3.50 on Ebay. These are the ones that can grow up to be hundreds of pounds if fertilized.

I have 2 daughter who would love to grow a big pumpkin. What type of veggies are you looking for?

I would love to send you both some of these seeds. My twins enjoyed watching them grow so large. We didn't have a monster but still much bigger than the regular pumpkins.
I think we will be using Mirical Grow this year!

Does either of you have any lily bulbs or hyacithas. I wanted to force a few and can not find them now.

Thank you so much for your offer. My friend just sent the girls some giant pumpkin seeds, so i'm going to give them a try.

Thanks again,
Melissa

bluegrass - did you add a wick for sugar water to get to the pumpkin? Also did you keep each plant only growing one pumpkin? These are both tricks to get them bigger. There is a thread somewhere in Veggie gardening with a lot about that - it would be worth a look to get some big ones!!

Yes, we did pluck the blooms. I want to try adding some slow release fertiizer this year.

Tell me more about sugar water.

The thread tells you how but you cut the stem a little insert a wick with the other end in sugar water - they claim this si the olny way to get the really really big ones.
