However, I've also got the flu, as does my husband. First time in 8 years we have had the actual flu. I had forgotten how utterly miserable it is. My son said yesterday, "I don't see how you can still feel so bad after all the naps you've taken." LOL Bless his heart. Thankfully, neither of my kids has it, so please say a prayer for us that they won't get it.
I just haven't felt like being on the computer, but I did want to snap one picture and post it and let you all know I had gotten them. If I feel better later today, I'll take pictures of the rest and post them. If not, I'll do it as soon as I can.
Hope everyone is well and staying warm.

Saying a little prayer that you get well soon! You're a trooper, flue and still able to snap an AV shot! my hat is off to you! (now that my friends is an addiction! LOL)

My DH has had the bug for over two weeks now. Dr. put him on a second Zpack too. Of course his leukemia causes a lowered immune system but he's just been miserable! Last two weekends he's been layed out on the couch. (yes, sports on the TV too!)

I started back with a scratchy throat again yesterday, but I feel ok. I just started pounding the Vit. C and Airborne too! Stay warm and rest Amy!

Trinket O Pink is a beauty!!! Looks like the green was airbrushed on the center of the leaves!

Trinket O Pink is to drool for ! One I wanted :)) Save me a leaf please :))

Thanks for all the well wishes! Lali, I didn't know your hubby had leukemia. I'll keep him in my prayers, too, as I know that makes every illness have the potential to be much worse than usual.

You know I've got leaves for you, Allison!

I'm still sick, so haven't taken any pictures yet, but I did make it off the couch for a little while today, so thought I'd let you all know I'm still around. I'll try to get pics tomorrow, but no promises.

Hugs to you all!

Thanks Amy, he's doing just fine at the moment. His kind is a 'smoldering' type. So he's ok for now! But I'll always be grateful for a prayer! They are very powerful! Thank you!

Now you take care of you! This cold has kicked our behinds, just when you think you're going ot get better, it sneaks in the back door! We didn't have the flu, just the standard issue crud or cold.

Raingazer, that is beautiful! I love it and agree w/ Laurie the green does look airbrushed! Wow.
Hope all of you that are under the weather are getting better. As a professional I recommend lots of liquids, rest, vitamin C and tylenol or the like for aches and pains, avoid alcohol, etc....chicken soup...fresh fruits and vegetables.....and any of those old wives tales that your mother told you years ago. There is some truth to many of them.
