Only been growing begonias for a short while. Need to ask a couple questions.
" Wineuma"(been told that's not the correct spelling but that's what's on the tag)I've had this plant about 3 yrs. It started out in the middle of the pot but now it's stem has bent over and it's growing at the edge of the pot with "nekkid"stem/rhizome laying along the soil. It'll be coming out of dormancy soon so it has only a couple of old leaves at the top. I plan on cutting this growing tip off and re-centering it.Can I cut the "nekkid" stem into sections and sprout them?
"Looking Glass". I've cut this darn plant back by half twice trying to get it to send up some basal growth to make it bushy but it just zigs back off the side of the stem and keeps on go UP. How to you get this darn this to bush out?

Wineuma and Looking Glass
It is spelled Wimauma named after the Florida city. It was hybridized by Greg Sytch, who has named many of his hybrids after Florida locales.; Okeechobee, Lauderdale Lakes, Kissimmee, Thonotosassa, Wauchula. These are crosses of Cowardly Lion and an unknown begonia. Very beautiful begonias. I believe you should be able to get new plants from the "nekkid" stems.
Here is a picture of another of Greg's hybrids - B. 'Aripeka', a cross of Cowardly Lion & manicata.
Beauty! Joolz where do you find begonias like this? (pssst only one more week!)
