How do you identify the Optimara violets? I have some I found at Wal-mart, but there is no name or number on the pot label.

It's fun to see which one your violet looks like, but remember that Optimara has been selling unnamed ones too, so a "lookalike" description isn't a positive ID.

jill...absolutely...and since different companies...especially here in florida do the "raising"...might be some mix ups

Lot's of companys are also paid to grow them by seed in mass amount to sell cheap in stores. Their so beautiful I love them all ! Just wish I had more room.
