Colie got her size small childrens or toddlers I think it said size small 4-5 . If I have this correct. It's Disney and she fount it at wal-Mart. My one CNA nurse buys her toddler size too but I think this fits perfect !
Last week Tammie brought her two new fleece sweatshirts from Wal-Mart pretty pinks prints one for Ballerina school and she got them clearence $ 1.00 each ! Today is going to 80 so a new T-Shirt was prefect surpirse. You say Precious you want to get dressed and she's there. But try to take it off she'll want to bite you.lol
Oh during the winter Tammi bought her some 3 and 4T sweat shirts and last eek picked two up said 16 months and we were surprised they fit. But they did. And this T-shirt is prefect fit :))

When I saw it the first thing,I thought of was Precious & just had to get it for her.She looks so cute in it.I can't get over how she loves clothes-my two would have them ripped off before I got one of their legs in.

had...well i came close to adopting a chihuaha at the county animal shelter..regret not doing it now...

had..that's great...i had my dachshund for 10 years...she was about 14...she passed on the monday before christmas...so i've been looking around....like Labs a lot...but can see my plants flying with a big dog's tail...lol....porbably get a smaller dog again...share a pic of yours sometime..
Bob, have you looked at long-haired dachshunds? My neighbor had a couple of them, and they were adorable... and I think the inclusion of irish setter & spanial in their bloodline makes them a little lab-like in their disposition.
We love labs too... when we get a dog, we'll just have to put plants on stands rather than tables, LOL
Allison, those pictures of Precious showing off in her new t-shirt are just fabulous! I've never heard of a dog who liked getting dressed up so much, but she clearly adores it.... I guess she just knows when she looks fancy!
jill those are the cutest pics of precious aren't they...thanks for the suggestions...i always get a dog from the shelter..so i will keep looking at various adoption centers etc...and yep...can always manage about plants and stuff with animals..
Oh, shelter dogs are wonderful! I mentioned them mostly because I wouldn't have had any idea there was such a thing as a long haired dachshund if they hadn't moved next door! :-)

We adooted Precious at 8 weeks old !! They said and on her papers from the Human Society says she is part chihuaha and Italian Greyhound !
Our Dogs never bother with the plants and their all over everything . She does enjoy helping and sits on my chair behind me and to the side and up on my back for a better view over my should helping me ! But she has never taken or bother with even the babies on bottom shelves. When she was tiny she took a pot a couple times Empty one that fell on the floor and chewed it. But we just took it away and gave her a chew toy. After couple times she just out grew that and never does it.
My beasts don't have access to my plants other than the garden (which Sophia is a terror to) it's the cats that I have to worry about.
They think my perlite trays are kitty boxes. We don't even keep a kitty box so where they got the idea I dont know, I guess scratching in stuff just comes naturally to them.
They also like to investigate everything and at times think they can leap tall buildings in a single bound (i.e. my plant stands). So now I just keep them out of my bedroom with all the AV's and gessies.
i've never tired to put clothes on my dogs, but if they hear the leash jingle, well it's all over with!! They start howling and doing basset backflips and it's a regular riot. Even if they see me put my tennis shoes on they go crazy because they know just exactly which shoes are the ones I wear for walkies.
I have to be very very stealthy when I get ready for walks...
Ali do you think Precious has some Doxie in her? What ever blend she is, she sure is a cutie.
Oh my goodness Precious know when her Dad is taking for a walk she goes crazy even if he spells it !

you know i went to county animal shelter yesterday....they had a dschshund there...a sandy colored one..not like mine that passed in December...i spent some time with this one a male....and it was the nastiest dachshund i had every seen...lol...i didn't take him home..
Really that's sad Bob it was nasty ? Not kind. :( It will be hard to find a home :( It must have had a ruff life. :(
allison it was a stray the card said...i think they had just neutered it as well...but some times the rusty colored doxy's are very nervous

Thanks GOd this weekend is much better . Hubby is doing better and he did some garden work :)) He made a garden for my rare Morning Glory seeds. I have more so he will make another on the other side of the deck ! And he planted out a Hybiscus from Laurie and Plumerias from Bob, and some other seeds I have. He also bought pretty flowers and did the cascading pot Lorry sent me awhile back. It looks so pretty. I will take pictures of it and then when it fill out wow ! And he filled another 12 inch pots with flowers and planted some in the new garden bed. And planted a good size African violet with buds in the garden. IF this one does well there ( sun does not get to hot) we will put more :))
2Z Precious just love to be dressed . She likes all her clother and hats too. Dad just made her take off a sweat shirt to go for a walk. He says it's to warm out. I guess I should have him put her T-Shirt on. lol

Awwwwwwwwww....... I was checking Precious photos and noticed that he has little white socks on his feet. How cute is that?!?!?!
Yes she does ! And one of my CNA's bought her little bootie socks with matching scarf. She did not wear them much but she liked them :))
