when cutting the leaves to root...if using the cut across or at "v" method....either part of the cutting that is FRESHLY cut on both ends......can go down in the medium...right?....(read the sticky several times..Dilbey says Basal part down..)
questions on strep leaves...
I just cut mine straight across. It works for me. I've often wonder about the side as you might not know which side was cut ? I'm sure I have set both sides down.
Bob as soon as I get caught up shipping I'll be sending you a box of some Streps and another Epsica I did not send you yet :))
How are the ones I sent you doing ?
oh allison everything you sent is absolutely gorgeous....growing so well and strong..i have had them under one flourescent light on my kitchen counter (which is sooo small...i have very little space.).but they seem to like it there..and please don't worry about sending me anything Allison...i think the ab signet is really growing...i'll take a pic and send it
Have they been blooming for you Bob ?
Oh yes I need to send you more for the last box you sent. And I have Streps I grew by leaf I know you don't have . I have Teddy Bear Epsica I forgot to put into your box :)) Maybe I'll find a large trailer :))
Looking good Alsobia likes extra drinks and food. I just keep mine in a saucer of food . They bloom all the time :))
I see your Chocolate Soldier is he doing good too :))
And another one of my favorite you Chirita ! Once it starts blooming watch out. It likes it dry and like to be tight small pot. My 20 inch one is in a 5 inch pan pot . I read they can be transplanted every 2-3 years and use to growing between the rocks and Chiritas like tight spaces. I sent you my favorite Gessies :))
