has anybody purchased from this ebayer?

Flowershack. very nice hibiscus, but feedback not the best. However, most recent ones related to technical difficulties. thanks for your help.

I haven't

I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole after all I have read in her feedback. Pay Pal will no longer deal with her because of all the complaints and poor plants/misleading sizes she sends out. Also for the size they are way over priced. Wait and see if Carol sells on e-bay in a month or two. We got fabulous liners from her on the co-op last summer plus I had already bought several sets from her auctions before that. Prices are about 3.00 a liner that will be just as big as the ones the other person is selling in 3 months

Thanks for the input Donna. I had already thought $12+ for a 4" plant was steep, but since many people overprice tropical hibiscuses... I would love to get my hands on Powder Puff

I did look at Carol's page but there was not action. Good to hear it's just temporary. I agree, every one of the plants I bought from the coop survived. I will wait. Not all bloomed, but all have grown at least 3 times their original size.

again, thanks for the input.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I too, will wait on Carol. I only lost 1 of 7 liners from her, the rest all bloomed and are still blooming inside. Was very happy with her price and health of plants. Worth waiting on her to get her stock back up and rooted.

Piedmont, MO(Zone 6a)

I too received liners from Carol during the coop. They have all thrived (13 for me and 12 for a friend) and some are 3 to 4 feet tall and very bushy and floriferous. I only have one that has not bloomed, and it is loaded with buds. It is such fun to watch for the first blooms and see how they look, how long they last, etc.
I would definitely recommend her plants to anyone.
This one is Tamibon, and it is really a big bright flower!

Vossner, all those plants shown in the ebay link, and many more, are plants developed by Dupont Nursery (indeed the pictures are taken from its webpage)
http://www.dupontnursery.com/cajuncolorhibiscus.aspx
I guess that ebay seller bought from Bobby Dupont the plants and increased the price a bit.
The nursery sells them for 10$. This nursery - not the ebayseller - is well known for the great quality of its plants, although they have a minimum order of 6 plants and at this time of the year most of their plants are unavailable.

A couple of people mentioned buying from Carol. I'm not familiar with her. Could you please post a link to her site. I love tropical hibiscus and would like to order some this spring. Thank you

Kathy she is not selling on e-Bay yet this season. We will spread the word when she does. Her e-Bay store is ProPlants

Thanks Donna. I'll watch for her this spring.

Most they have labeled as rare are very common at Lowes, Home Depot and other online growers..I hate the way people list Ebay things as rare to push people to bid on them. Seminole pink is an old variety of hibiscus, most don't like it ..
