Howdy from Ohio

Springboro, OH(Zone 5b)

Hi folks! I just joined, and I'm not sure why it took me so long. I've been using the reference material on this site for months.

I'm a freelance commercial writer, often a garden writer too. And I'm a garden addict. :)

This looks like it will be a rough spring for me because we are moving to a new house. I'll be leaving my old garden beds behind and starting fresh. I'd love to order seeds, especially veggies, but I have no idea what I'll be able to plant this year! We're getting a much bigger property, but it'll take time to get it ready. On the other hand, it'll be fun to see what plants are coming up at the new place.

Looking forward to getting to know this community,

Pam

great, Pam, delighted to have your 'surface' on DG!

And good luck with your move...are you moving to another place in Hamilton?

And you have to be sure to check the 'RU' forum for the date for our Ohio Valley Round-up (gathering)...and check the Ohio River Valley Forum, too, for good info on garden happenings in the area--

Lot's of local Ohio/KY DG posters who will be able to help you fill out your new property with great plants!

We just visited Hamilton on the way to the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. Neat place!
