Sarian Strawberries and Old Time Tennessee Muskmelon

I am going to try these for the first time, has anyone ever grown these?

I have grown the Old Time Tennessee Muskmelon. It is an older cultivar. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/60299/index.html It is a large football shaped melon with deep creases. Both the rind and flesh is very soft. It is also aromatic. Critters from worms to insects to box turtles love it. It has zero shelf life. I don't care for the texture, folks use to call them MUSHmelons and it is a suitable name. It does grow to bragging size tho.

You might like. Never know til you try. I would suggest putting a piece of plywood or the like under each melon to keep it from touching the ground. Oh and don't leave them lying around afetr they began ripening. They don't hold well at all.
