crock pot deer roast?

anyone ever cooked a deer roast in a crock pot? Is it the same as cooking on stove top or oven?

if so,
how long did you cook it?

I plan on seering it on the stove top in flour and seasoning. It has been sitting in a marinade all night. Any tips?...
