I like the picture.......... and I like the plant. What camera settings for this one?

It was in cloud cover (diffused light), and I usually shoot at 5.0 f-stop, and let the camera choose the shutter speed, this was probably at 1/60th sec.
The light setting was at 'Average white balance'
The ISO, I always keep at 50.
The resolution is always set at the highest setting, and the compression is always set at the least.

Oh, and I used the built in macro lens, not the optical or digital zoom.

Many thanks. Frame it? I have a (manual)micro lens........... coming from ebay auction ........ and I fluked into a tripod...... probably junk but the budget is stretched. I am relearning photographic principles...... to use a Nikon D100 to good effect. Very pleased that purple is not a problem...... that previous cameras had.

Snowstorm passed, temp up and down, wind around 70 mph.

Yes, I occasionally frame, and alot of the time I raise and lower the exposure one step.
Mines a Canon A70.
I'll soon be getting the 5megapixel Canon tho.
